Welcome to Shining Moments Photography! My name is Sarah Pascual. I am the owner and lead photographer of this artistic studio based in Jacksonville, Florida. I'm a small town girl, the eldest of six children, born and raised in Chardon, Ohio. I enrolled in my first photography class during my sophomore year of high school, and I've been a professional photographer since 2001 when I obtained my first job in a portrait studio.

I moved to Jacksonville in 2003, where I continued my photographic career while attending college. I also had the opportunity to travel and study in Ecuador, Greece, Italy, and Turkey. I began photographing weddings in 2006 under the instruction of master photographer Rick Ferro. In 2008, I graduated from Jacksonville University with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Visual Arts (concentration in Photography) and a double minor in Art History and Humanities. I started Shining Moments Photography shortly after graduation.

Photography is so much more than my job. It's a doorway, a creative outlet, and a way of life. I love that I can be around people through photography. I know it is an honor to spend someone's happiest moments with them, and I consider myself truly blessed to be able to preserve so many special memories.
